Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 12:00. Would you like to leave later? Ask us in advance and we will say yes whenever the calendar allows.

You let yourself in: the keys are in a code box, and we send you the code before you arrive. Parking is on the upper yard, and the nearest bus stop is a couple of minutes' walk away.

Bed linen and towels are always included. Final cleaning is not included in the price: you can do it yourself, or book it from us in advance for 250 €, paid through your booking platform. Booked cleaning covers vacuuming and washing the floors.

Whichever you choose, please wash the dishes, empty the fridge, take the rubbish to the bin by the road and dry the sauna benches before you leave.

You can fish from the shore with a rod and line, and go ice fishing in winter, without a permit. Fishing with a lure requires anyone aged 18–69 to pay the Finnish fishing management fee (kalastonhoitomaksu).

Only go out on the ice when it is strong enough to carry you. The boats at the shore belong to the owners and, for safety and insurance reasons, are not available to guests.

The Villa and Rantasauna are for the guests in your booking, up to 6 people. We do not host parties, events or visitors, and quiet hours are 22:00–08:00 – sound carries a long way over water.

The whole property is smoke-free, and we cannot accept pets of any kind. Apart from the grill and the sauna stove, no open flames are used – not even candles – because both buildings are solid log.

Rantasauna's hot water covers several short showers, but not long ones. Wooden steps lead down to the shore, the terraces are slippery when wet, and children must be supervised by an adult near the water.

The Villa is in the city, not the wilderness: the neighbours are close, and you can see buildings across the lake. Security cameras cover the yard, the parking area and the entrances, but never the inside of the buildings, the sauna or the terraces.
